Where it all began
My name is Nagendra Chinimilli, and I hail from Andhra Pradesh in South India. As a child, I would watch my mother spend hours in our kitchen meticulously preparing each meal for our family. Each dish was crafted to our individual tastes using recipes passed down for generations. When I moved to the UK in 2019 to pursue a Master’s Degree, the first thing I missed was my mother’s homemade cooking. I realised that all those hours spent in the kitchen were not only to satiate my stomach, but to show us her love and care. I began to spend hours in my own kitchen, trying to recreate her love and attention in my every meal.
Now, my passion lies in sharing my creations, infusing each recipe with my own blends and flavours, and recreating the care and detail which I know makes an excellent dish, filling not only the stomach, but the heart.
You can find me in the South Oxford Farmer’s Market on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, and at the Reading Farmer’s Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.
